MAXI SOUNDSET

MAXI SOUNDSET is a free, open-source Windows application for controlling output volume, leveling loudness, and adjusting playback sound. Use it with everyday audio from videos, music, games, and voice content. Its English interface uses left-to-right layout, and its Persian interface uses right-to-left layout. Windows volume mode controls the selected output device with targets from 0 to 100. Full mode uses the optional VB-CABLE virtual audio driver to route sound through the app and supports targets up to 200. Loudness leveling, sound enhancement, and treble smoothing have separate controls. Sound enhancement, sound profiles, and treble smoothing require Full mode; the EQ page also offers manual adjustment. Choose profiles for voice and dialogue, music, cinema, gaming, or relaxed listening. Input, output, and gain meters help you follow the processing. Global hotkeys, tray controls, startup preferences, and a collapsible sidebar make the app convenient to use alongside other applications. The Components page manages VB-CABLE installation and reuses a valid downloaded package when installation needs to be retried. A separate Download Again option retrieves a fresh package. The installer offers optional cable removal and a choice of physical output for restoring Windows audio routing. VB-CABLE is a separate product from VB-Audio and has its own license terms. The About page lets you check for software updates, open release notes, and choose whether to download and install a new version. Updates use the existing installation folder. Audio processing takes place on the local computer; update checks and component downloads use the internet. MAXI SOUNDSET supports Windows 10 and 11 on x64 systems.
